How can I use my modem as a telephone? - telephone modem
I have an HP Pavilion dv9000 with a data fax modem with SmartCP HDAudio Soft. Is it possible to connect the modem to the telephone line, so you can choose a local number and speak as if one with a normal phone? I am looking for a solution "in conjunction with Skype, or ... I want my laptop to use as a phone, and I wonder, if possible. Thank you!
